Sabahattin

Bosniac from Goradje. Born in 1970. He came to Istanbul, Turkey, during the war, and works as a dyer and at a Bosnian Cultural Centre in Pendik, Istanbul.

What is your first memory of the war?

It was quite a difficult time; yet, we managed to get to the big cities, to Karadagh, then to Macedonia Skopje, where we spent two months. So, personally I did not see much of war. The war started in April, me, I escaped in May the 10th.
